Texting while Driving
By now I would have hoped that drivers would have stopped this terrible and dangerous habit but it seems that people everywhere are still doing it. A recent and very sophisticated real-world study has confirmed what we already knew, texting while driving raises the risk of being involved in a crash, especially among younger drivers.
Young drivers are definitely the worst offenders and unfortunately they are the most inexperienced drivers which is part of the reason why they are more at risk. Young adult drivers increase their chances of being involved in an accident by seven times while dialing or reaching for their cell phone.
