Adding your home location to Mazda Navigation
The first step to adding a home location to your MAZDA CONNECT™ Navigation System is to use the touchscreen display to enter the navigation system itself. Once the GPS navigation has loaded, choose “New Address.” From there, you’ll want to click on “Navigate Home.” Since you most likely haven’t already added a home address if you’re reading this blog, you’ll be able to enter in the information directly from this screen. You’ll first need to choose the country and state, city or zip code, and street name. As you begin entering in this information, the MAZDA CONNECT™ System will automatically populate suggestions. If one of the suggestions is correct, you can choose the suggestion and click the checkmark, or you can continue entering the information yourself. When you begin entering in street name, it’s important to only type in the street name, not the actual house number. Once the street name has been entered, you’ll be able to add in house number. When you’ve typed in the house number, an icon that looks like pages will appear in the bottom righthand corner. Select that icon, and then choose “Set as Home.” Need a more visual guide for how to navigate the process of choosing a home destination for your Mazda’s navigation system? Check out the video below!
