How much horsepower does the 2018 Mazda6 have?
The answer to this question is dependent on the trim level. If you would like to achieve the top speed noted above, you would be better off opting for the more powerful engine option, which we will explain below. The base Sport trim comes with a 2.5-liter SKYACTIV®-G engine with 187 horsepower. While that is certainly impressive and would make for a fun drive, there is an even stronger choice. The Grand Touring, Grand Touring Reserve, and Signature trims come available with the new 2.5T SKYACTIV®-G engine. This turbocharged engine is powered by 250 horses and it produces 310 pound-foot of torque.
