One of the most notable changes made to the Mazda CX-5 is a performance boost for Grand Touring Reserve and Signature models. The optional, turbocharged, four-cylinder, 2.5-liter engine available for the Mazda CX-5 has been improved for the 2020 model year. This engine now produces 320 pound-feet of torque on premium fuel, which is 10 more lb.-ft. of torque than the outgoing 2019 model.

The other major update made to the 2020 Mazda CX-5 is the addition of i-Activsense safety features to this SUV’s base trim level.
