Tips to Change the Mazda 3 Fuel Filter
Follow the gas line until you find a cylinder-shaped filter surrounded by a stone guard.
Remove the stone guard and mounting bolts with a screwdriver and then gently pry the two plastic tabs off of each end of the fuel filter to remove the gas lines from the filter.
Take your new Mazda 3 fuel filter out and attach the gas lines to the proper sides of the new fuel filter.
Slide the new Mazda 3 fuel filter back into its mount and then tighten the mounting bolts with a screwdriver.
