Starting this February, the 2020 iteration of the Mazda MX-5 Miata will be making its way to dealerships. Interested shoppers will be happy to know that the 2020 MX-5 Miata has received several updates to differentiate it from the outgoing 2019 model. Wondering what’s new inside the 2020 Mazda MX-5 Miata? We’ve broken down the changes made to this roadster for the 2020 model year.
The three trim levels from the outgoing 2019 Mazda MX-5 Miata return for 2020: Sport, Club and Grand Touring. The powerful, four-cylinder, 2.0-liter engine (181 horsepower and 151 pound-feet of torque) returns for all three trims as well. This roadster’s 2020 updates become more noticeable when drivers take a look at its higher trim levels, where several features and color options have been added.
Grand Touring models now include several features that were formerly exclusive to the Club trim, including a sport-tuned suspension, Bilstein dampers, a limited-slip differential and a front shock tower brace. Also new in the Grand Touring trim is the availability of a Gray cloth soft top and the Red Nappa leather interior. A new, Polymetal Gray exterior color option is also available.
